However, William Wallace Cook shows us that there are almost 1,500 different plots!
His book Plotto was originally published in 1928, and has recently been reissued.
Much of the book is laid out in an algebraic format, and apparently came from Cook’s need to expand his mind and writing life. At the time he wrote Plotto. He was churning out about a book a week!
